Save Our Earth

"Don't Destroy Our Earth" is exactly what we say, but do they listen, no. The adults, they are supposed to be responsible, and keep the earth clean for us, the children of the world, who will inherit it. They do not though, they waste our water, destroy our soil, and polute our air. These things are inccurable, unfixable, we need to stop this. People need to know more, people need to learn! On this blog I will tell you about many of the most disaterous ways that our Earth is demolishing. Learn from my blog, Help Save Our Earth!

Who's Helping? Who's Not?

There are several groups working to infrom people about global pollution or trying to take action against it, but most of them aren't nearly big enough, or have enough influence.

Photo of Group Against Smog and PollutionOne is 'GASP'- Group Against Smog and Pollution, which is "a non-profit citizens' group in Southwestern Pennsylvania working for a healthy, sustainable environment". http://gasp-pgh.org/

Another group is 'Communities United Against Pollution (CUCCo)' who "are are committed to fighting pollution in underpriviledged communities", or communities that can not fight it themselves.

One more group is "Jesus People Against Pollution (JPAP) is a group working for environmental justice. They are organization located in Columbia, Mississippi. "The organization was created in response to an explosion at a local chemical plant that resulted in severe exposure of the community to toxic substances". http://sis.nlm.nih.gov/outreach/outreachjpap.html

These are just a very few of the many organizations in the world. But if there are so many why don't we hear about them more often? Well, these organizations are generally in communities, neighborhoods, not very big; so they do not get a lot of attention, and cannot change much in the world.

While on the other hand, the government, well, who hasn't heared from them. They are everywhere, they influence everything. But have they done much at all about pollution? No. While they are talking about who is going to host the next Olympics, the land they are planning to use is being polluted to disgust. In fact all land is being polluted. If the government would just become aware of the pollution, inform the citizens about how it is such a BIG problem, because most people are unaware of that it is. But the government isn't aware, they don't get it and they aren't doing anything about it. Thats why we, the citizens need to get involved, we need to inform our own government.

Get Involved!

Who?

I have told you now, about the two main ways that our earth is being destroyed. By water and air, the two things we need the most, but the two things that are demolishing the fastest. I have giving you a lot of information on these topics, now I think I need to say more about who is involved.

You know what is happening; our earth is dying, you know when it is happening; it is happening now, you know how it is happening; we are polluting our earth, you know where it is effecting; everywhere! But who is involved, who is being mostly effected. Everyone is effected, alot of people of already know what is happening. But who is doing something about it, who is mostly effected by this?

Who, that is what we are here to find out now.

YOU Can Help

You can help! Many of the things that create air pollution are cause, partly if not completely by humans. There are several things you can do to halp reduce the impact of air pollution on our world.

àFirst and foremost, you can reduce the amount of time you run your car, so you are reduceing the amount of Co2 you are emmitting. You can do this by
                    *NOT idealing,
                    *By biking
                    *Bywalking
                    *Carpooling

àYou can turn down your thermostats
so you are not burning excess fuel, and
releasing chemicals into the air.
àYou can watch your campfires, so they do not spread and make a forest fire.
àYou can use less electricity, because the power plant that makes the electricity will pollute the air
àDon't buy a lot of useless things because the factories that make them pollutes the air and it you don't but as much they won't make as much and the air won't be polluted as much.
àDon't Smoke- the chemicals in the smoke pollutes the air.

Simple, simple things that can help A LOT to preserve our diminishing air quality.
Come On, Help Out,  YOU CAN!
